Specter Glow setup guide for Apex Legends

1. Fully disable Windows Defender and any other antivirus — not through exclusions — and don't turn them back on while you use the cheat. The loader starts its own hypervisor, and real-time protection sees it as a threat. Step by step for Defender: see the guide to disabling Defender.
2. Uninstall FACEIT Anti-Cheat if it's installed on your computer: its driver keeps running even when the client is closed and blocks loading.
3. Make sure virtualization is enabled: open Task Manager → Performance → CPU and find the "Virtualization" line. If it says "Disabled", enable the BIOS option Intel Virtualization Technology, SVM Mode or AMD-V.
4. You don't have to disable Hyper-V, WSL, VBS and HVCI manually — the loader will do it itself (see step 3). You can check in advance in "Windows Security" (the "Memory integrity" item is HVCI) and in "Windows Features" (the "Hyper-V" and "Windows Subsystem for Linux" items).

Visual C++. The cheat is written in C++ and uses Microsoft runtime libraries of all versions from 2005 to 2022, both x86 and x64. A single x64 2015+ package is not enough — because of that, the cheat may load and do nothing.
1. Install both 2015–2022 packages from the Microsoft website: x64 and x86.
2. Install the older versions — 2005, 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2013 — in both architectures; their links are collected on the official Visual C++ downloads page.
3. Using an all-in-one pack with all versions? Then unpack it into a separate folder, run install_all.bat as administrator and wait for the installation to finish.

DirectX. The cheat overlay is drawn via Direct3D, which needs the D3DX9, D3DX10, D3DX11 and XAudio libraries. Windows 10 and 11 don't include them, even when they say "DirectX 12 is already installed".
1. Run the official DirectX web installer.
2. If it fails with an error, get the offline version from the same Microsoft website, DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010): unpack it into any folder, run DXSETUP.exe from it and wait for it to finish.

1. The key for SPECTER GLOW comes with your purchase.
2. Download Loader.exe to a separate folder (if it downloaded as an archive, unpack it there too). A browser warning about the file is normal here — it means you should double-check that the antivirus is off.
3. Run the loader, enter your activation key and confirm with Validate Key.
4. Check the details in the window that opens: the product name, subscription status and expiry date must match the key you bought.

1. Don't open Apex Legends in advance — the cheat loads first.
2. Click Launch.
3. If an Error window with a Fix button at the bottom appears, the loader has detected Hyper-V, WSL, VBS or HVCI, which are incompatible with it. Click Fix: the components will be turned off and the computer will restart. Then open the loader once more and click Launch. You won't have to repeat this on every launch.
4. Wait for the message Cheat loaded! Open game — don't launch the game before it appears.
5. Open Apex Legends: the cheat menu will be available inside the game.

Started the game before the cheat? Close it and start again from Launch, otherwise you will get the error ERROR_OPENED_ANTICHEAT.

SPECTER GLOW highlights enemies through walls and obstacles. The cheat menu sets the glow colors and its render distance. If you record videos or stream, the visuals can be hidden from screen capture.

"Cheat loaded" appeared and the game opened, but there is no glow and no menu — runtime libraries are missing. Repeat step 1: reinstall all versions of Visual C++ in both architectures and DirectX.

Loader codes:

• FAILED_TO_PARSE_SYMBOLS — symbol parsing error: restart the loader; if it happens again, check the antivirus and Defender;
• FAILED_TO_LOAD_VULN_DRIVER — the driver won't load: the antivirus or FACEIT is to blame;
• FAILED_TO_LOAD_CHEAT — the cheat won't load: antivirus, DirectX or Visual C++;
• FAILED_TO_INIT_SYSCALLS — system calls don't initialize: antivirus or Visual C++;
• FAILED_TO_FIND_SYMSRV_OR_DBGHELP — components not found: check your internet, antivirus and FACEIT;
• BACKEND_TIMED_OUT, BACKEND_INTERNAL_ERROR, BACKEND_UNEXCEPTED_ERROR — no connection to the server, usually because your ISP blocks it: turn on a VPN and try again; if that doesn't help, contact support and we'll check whether maintenance is underway;
• FAILED_TO_MAP_HYPERVISOR, "Not enough memory" — not enough free memory: close your browser and background programs, or restart the PC and open the loader first;
• "CPU unsupported critical extensions" — Hyper-V, WSL, VBS or HVCI is running: use Fix, and if there is no such button, contact support;
• "Virtualization disabled or unsupported" — virtualization is off in BIOS: turn it on;
• "Offsets initialization failed" — the Windows build is not supported (26H2 at most); on a newer one, the cheat will only work after a loader update: send support your build number from winver;
• INVALID_HWID — the key is bound to different hardware: only support can reset the HWID;
• TRIAL_ALREADY_USED — a trial key has already been used on this PC (only happens with trial keys): contact support;
• KEY_BANNED — the key is banned: contact support for details;
• ERROR_OPENED_ANTICHEAT — an anti-cheat was active when the cheat was launched: close all games with anti-cheat and start the cheat before the game;
• Error 19 — restart the PC and right away, without launching anything else, load the cheat again.

For all errors related to the antivirus and FACEIT, there is one fix: fully turn off the antivirus and Defender, uninstall FACEIT AC, restart the loader.

If everything is done but SPECTER GLOW doesn't work, message the CheatForce support bot — @CheatForce_support_bot. Attach the error code or a screenshot of the loader window right away, the full Windows version (Win + R → winver) and list what you have already tried. Keep in mind: the risk of an account ban always remains.
