Authority setup guide for Escape from Tarkov: Arena

1. Windows 10 21H2–22H2 or Windows 11 21H2–23H2 (to see your build, run winver; 24H2 and newer are not supported).
2. Intel or AMD CPU, NVIDIA or AMD GPU.
3. Escape from Tarkov: Arena from the Battlestate Games launcher, window mode — windowed or borderless.
4. Built-in spoofer: yes.

1. Open Settings → Apps → Installed apps and uninstall any third-party antivirus (Kaspersky, Avast, AVG, ESET, 360, Malwarebytes, etc.). Pausing doesn't help: the antivirus driver stays in the system.
2. Uninstall FACEIT AC and Riot Vanguard if they're installed: these anti-cheats block loading at the kernel level.
3. Restart your PC.

1. Open Windows Security → Virus & threat protection → Manage settings. Turn off Tamper Protection first, then real-time protection, cloud-delivered protection and automatic sample submission.
2. Go to App & browser control → Reputation-based protection and turn off everything there, including SmartScreen.
3. In Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc), on the Startup tab, disable Windows Security notification icon.
4. Restart your PC — otherwise some Defender services will start up again.
5. If Defender keeps turning back on, disable it with the free Defender Control tool (run it as administrator, click Disable Windows Defender).

2. Turn off Memory integrity and restart your PC.

1. Install Visual C++ Redistributable x64 and restart your PC.
2. If you haven't updated it in a while, install DirectX.

1. Open Windows Security → Device security → Core isolation details.
2. Turn off Microsoft Vulnerable Driver Blocklist and restart your PC.
3. Uninstall ACE and Roblox Anti-Cheat if they're installed.

1. Download the loader and run it — it will ask for administrator rights on its own.
2. Paste the key you received after payment and click Log In.
3. Wait for it to load and click Inject.
4. The loader will ask whether to enable the spoofer. If this PC has already had bans in the game, answer "Yes" on every launch until you reboot; if not, you don't need the spoofer.
5. If the loader asks for a spoofer seed key, enter your own number (the serials will be the same every time) or 0 for random ones and press Enter.
6. The second question is about clearing anti-cheat traces: answer "Yes" once after a ban, and "No" in all other cases.
7. Wait for the message that the cheat has loaded.
8. Open EFT: Arena, wait for the main menu and press F2. The game will freeze a few times — that's normal.
9. The menu opens with Home; that's also where you change the menu key, panic key and language.
10. Restart your PC before launching other games after playing with the cheat.

Couldn't load vulnerable driver — Windows is blocking the loader's driver. Disable Defender and SmartScreen, Core isolation and the vulnerable driver blocklist, uninstall antivirus software and FACEIT, then reboot.
Blank error or PC restarts — turn off User Account Control (UAC), run BSG Launcher as administrator, sync the time twice. Don't wait too long to press F2 after the game loads.
The loader says Defender is on — Defender isn't fully disabled. Repeat the Defender section, then in an admin Command Prompt run sc query wdfilter — the service should be in the STOPPED state.
Cannot map physical address 0x1000 — almost always caused by another anti-cheat (FACEIT, Vanguard, ACE) or an antivirus. Another cause is an unsupported Windows build — check it against the requirements.
C0000001 — check your Windows build with winver and compare it with the requirements, make sure Defender is off, then reboot.
Failure connect — the loader couldn't reach the server: there may be maintenance. If the status is "working", turn on a VPN and try again.
Critical error occured — turn off Windows protection (see the preparation steps), then right-click the loader file → Properties → check "Unblock" → Apply.
Server internal error #684 — can only be fixed through support: send a screenshot, your key and your order number.
Failed to initialize security modules! — the cheat is being run on an unlicensed copy of the game. You need a licensed copy from BSG Launcher.
Blue screen when pressing F2 — switch the game to windowed or borderless mode, turn off automatic memory cleanup in the game settings, and close overlays, boosters and recording software.
Blank loader console — turn off HDR in Windows and in your monitor settings.
Broken font in the console — change the scaling in Settings → Display; if that doesn't help, run sfc /scannow and DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth as administrator and reboot.
d3dx9_43.dll error — DirectX libraries are missing: install DirectX and reboot.
No internet after launch — Control Panel → Network and Internet → Network Connections: disable your adapter and enable it again.
After F2 the game freezes, but there's no menu — turn off Smooth Motion in NVIDIA App.
Windows test mode is on — products don't run in it: run bcdedit /set testsigning off as administrator and reboot.

1. ISPs often block activation servers. Turn on a full VPN client (not a browser extension) before running the loader.
2. After a successful injection, you can usually turn the VPN off before a match.
3. Check your Windows time (see above) and restart the loader.

1. Open Settings → Time & language → Date & time.
2. Turn on automatic time and time zone and click Sync now. A wrong time breaks key activation.

Does it work for regular Tarkov? No, only for Escape from Tarkov: Arena — it's a separate client.
Do I need a separate spoofer? No, it's built into the loader.
