DMA cheats: what they are and how they work
Contents5 sections
A DMA cheat is a cheat that runs not on your gaming computer but on a second PC or laptop. It gets the game data through a DMA card: a PCIe board installed in the gaming PC. Hence the name: DMA stands for Direct Memory Access.
Let's look at how this setup works, what you need to prepare besides the cheat itself, and which DMA cheats are in the CheatForce catalog.
How does a DMA cheat work?
The DMA card sits in a PCIe slot of the gaming computer and reads its RAM directly. The data goes to the second computer, which the card is connected to by cable, and that's where the cheat processes and displays it: radar, wallhack, a settings menu.
No cheat code runs on the gaming PC. That's why the Direct CS2 DMA and Clutch Rust DMA product pages say the rendering is hidden from OBS recording. This is not a guarantee against a ban: anti-cheats look for DMA devices too.
What do you need for a DMA cheat?
| What | Why | Requirements |
|---|---|---|
| DMA card with firmware | Reads the gaming PC's memory | A model from the compatibility list on the product page |
| A second computer or laptop | Runs the cheat | At least 4 GB of RAM and 2 cores; Direct CS2 DMA needs a CPU with AVX2 |
| Windows 10 or 11 | The system for the cheat | Listed on the product page |
The DMA card and the second PC are not included in the purchase: the order contains only the cheat itself. Before paying, check your card against the list on the product page: Direct CS2 DMA and Clutch Rust DMA list, for example, LeetDMA, CaptainDMA, StandartDMA, Screamer R03 and R04.
DMA cheats in the catalog
- Direct CS2 DMA for Counter-Strike 2 — aimbot, visuals and extra settings; the second PC needs AVX2 support.
- Clutch Rust DMA for Rust — wallhack for players, sleepers, NPCs, traps, turrets and resources, No Recoil; the menu opens in a browser on a PC, phone or tablet.
- Clutch Radar DMA for Escape from Tarkov — a 2D radar and 3D ESP with gear and loot prices, open extracts and quest zones.
- Clutchbox DMA — an add-on module for Clutch Radar DMA: No Recoil, Chams, thermal vision and other features that change how the game behaves. It doesn't run on its own.
Other common questions about DMA cheats
Can I use a laptop instead of a second PC?
Yes. The DMA cheat product pages say the cheat runs on a second computer or laptop; what matters is meeting the memory and CPU requirements.
How do I know if my DMA card is compatible?
Check your model against the list of compatible cards on the product page. If your model isn't there, check compatibility with support before paying: whether the cheat works depends on the card's firmware.
Where does the DMA cheat menu open?
For Clutch Rust DMA and Clutch Radar DMA, the menu opens in a browser — on the second PC, a phone or a tablet. How other products are controlled is described on their product pages.
They're all collected on the DMA cheats page.
DMA or a regular cheat?
A regular cheat is simpler: it's installed on the same computer the game runs on and doesn't need extra hardware. A DMA cheat needs a card and a second PC, but the cheat code doesn't run on the gaming computer. Which to choose depends on the game and your budget. If you're unsure about cheat types, read the article on external and internal cheats, and before buying, go through the cheat selection checklist.
